The right result starts with the right material and marking process.

A single nameplate, a run of industrial tags, a storefront sign, and a wall graphic all ask different things from the material. We match the substrate, finish, and process to the environment, lifespan, and look you need.

Environment

Indoor, outdoor, washdown, heat, chemicals, abrasion, UV, and handling all affect the best material choice.

Finish

Brushed, polished, painted, printed, etched, engraved, raised, reflective, matte, gloss, and specialty finishes all behave differently.

Lifespan

Short-term event graphics do not need the same material as equipment tags expected to last for years.

Artwork

The process may depend on whether the artwork is vector, full-colour, small text, variable data, or supplied as a rough reference.

Harsh-use identification
Stainless, anodized aluminum, brass, embossed metal, or lamacoid may be better than a printed label.
Brand and display work
Acrylic, vinyl, aluminum composite, banners, and printed panels can carry colour and scale.
Fine detail and variable data
Laser, rotary engraving, dye sublimation, and digital print each handle small type and logos differently.
Unknown material
If you have a sample or a specific requirement, send it. Some materials need testing before we quote production.

Aluminum

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and available in anodized, brushed, or coated finishes for tags, plates, and asset IDs.

Stainless Steel

Best for harsh, washdown, marine, food, medical, oil and gas, and industrial environments where durability matters.

Brass & Bronze

A premium traditional finish for valve tags, plaques, memorial work, architectural markers, and paint-filled engraving.

Acrylic

Clean, modern, and versatile for signs, directories, wayfinding, dimensional pieces, and display work.

Lamacoid

Two- and three-ply engraving plastic for control panels, legends, room signs, tags, and durable labels.

Vinyl & Reflective

Cast, calendered, reflective, and specialty vinyl options for decals, lettering, vehicles, windows, and safety markings.

Wide-Format Substrates

Coroplast, banner, foam board, PVC, aluminum composite, and rigid sign panels for full-colour print work.

Magnetic & Specialty

Magnetic sheeting, phenolic, Delrin, glass, and other specialty materials reviewed by application.

How the material gets marked, cut, or finished

Rotary Engraving

Deep mechanical engraving for metal, lamacoid, nameplates, tags, plaques, and paint-filled industrial work.

Laser Etching & Marking

High-detail marking for coated materials, anodized aluminum, glass by approval, and suitable metal marking with review and testing.

Laser Cutting

Precise cutting for acrylic, stencils, shapes, letters, and selected sheet materials.

Anodized Aluminum

Laser-revealed natural aluminum text against coloured anodized backgrounds for crisp asset and rating plates.

Embossing

Raised characters in metal tags where ink, paint, or printed markings are not ideal.

Dye Sublimation

Full-colour graphics bonded to coated metal for plaques, name badges, awards, and photo-quality pieces.

Wide-Format Printing

Outdoor and indoor full-colour printing for banners, signs, decals, murals, posters, and display graphics.
