What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Pro-Touch Engraving & Signage ("Pro-Touch," "we," "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and how it's handled. It applies to this website and does not cover third-party sites we may link to.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact/quote request form, we collect what you enter directly:

• Name, email address, phone number, and company (if provided)
• Your message, requested products, and any billing or shipping details you enter
• Any files you choose to attach (artwork, photos, drawings, reference documents)

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information through this website.

How we use it

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and fulfill an order if you proceed with one. Submissions are stored in our internal system so our team can track and respond to requests, and are not sold or shared with third parties except as needed to fulfill your order (for example, a supplier or shipping carrier), as required by law, or with the companies that host our website and email for us.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small, functional session cookie strictly to keep the contact form secure (it protects against a class of automated form abuse) and to remember your scroll position as you browse - not for tracking or advertising.

The site also keeps its own visit statistics, which do not identify you: pages viewed and how long and how far they were read, how visitors found the site, approximate location (city level) and network provider, time zone, device, browser and screen size, searches (the site search and the bird band size guide), buttons clicked, and whether the contact form was used or left unfinished. IP addresses, names and email addresses are not stored with these statistics, and they are deleted after 13 months. When you send an inquiry, a short summary of the pages you looked at beforehand is included in the email to our sales team to help us answer you. If you save a score in the hidden game in the site header, the scoreboard shows only the three letters you choose, your score and your rough region.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or advertising services. The contact page shows a map: its code is loaded from unpkg.com and its map pictures from OpenStreetMap, so those services can see your internet address when you open that page.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to answer your request and for our normal business and customer service records, and delete them when they are no longer needed. The visit statistics described above are deleted after 13 months. You can ask us at any time for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it: contact us using the details below and we'll respond promptly.

Your choices and concerns

You can withdraw your consent to our keeping your information at any time (we may then be unable to continue to serve you). If you have a concern about how your information is handled, please raise it with our Privacy Officer first (details below). You also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca).

Security

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect information submitted through this site, including restricting direct access to our internal database and requiring authentication for staff access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
